Warminster’s U-12 “Gold” team Wins the Bucks county Inter-township End of Season Tournament

 

The Warminster “Golden Retrievers” won the Bucks County  Inter Township U-12 Championship tournament, Defeating the Number one Seed Newtown “Monsters” 18-5

The Golden Retrievers finished the regular Season Undefeated going 16&0. Defeating every team in their division at least once.

The End of Season tournament was held at Newtown’s Helen Randal Park, in Newtown PA. The tournament was comprise of 16 different teams from various Bucks County Townships and was held over the weekend of June 7^th & 8^th. The Golden Retriever took the championship by winning four straight game on Sunday June 8^th in the sweltering heat, after placing 6^th seed in during the Saturday Seeding rounds by losing a tough game against Newtown’s “Monsters” only to meet up with the Monsters in the final championship game.

Every game was a total team effort, and the girls on this team just do not take losing as an option.
